Our Service Philosophy

Our belief is that a proactive approach to ALL injuries leads to optimum outcomes and reduced costs by providing 24 x 7 telephonic triage services at the time of injury, paired with proactive guidance to the injured worker to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up with their treatment plan.  Leaving an injured employee to manage recovery on their own frequently leads frustration, lack of timely follow-through, resentment and potentially the involvement of a legal representation, delaying return to work and greatly increasing costs to the employer.  Our services effectively prevent these pitfalls and can be thought of as an employee benefit in providing the extra degree of concern and care for the injured worker. .

Priya Patel, BSN   Case Manager

Our team of senior strategists pairs out-of-the-box thinking with tried-and-true consulting skills. We're on the cusp of social media trends, new technologies and new ways to deliver messages effectively and creatively. Guided by the leadership of Stan Grossman, a leader in the industry for 27 years, we've got a foundation for success that's set for many decades to come.

History of the firm

The firm began in 2004 under a partnership between EI Compworks of Cary, N.C., and Gloria Faress, RN, CCM, providing 24 hour telephonic injury management services to self-insured employers.  The business model provides 24 hour triage services for work injuries followed by pro-active guidance of the injured worker throughout the recovery period.  In 2006 the firm and clients continued under the leadership of Mrs. Faress under the name Comp Case Management, and later under the current name of CompWorks Injury Management, LLC.
